Celtics 115 - Pistons 113 --What a game!
If anyone watched tonights game, they'll tell you its easily the game of the year. Could be the game of the past 5 years! Celtics stuck around and kept on pace with the defending champions throughout the game. We even had a lead going into the 4th quarter.
We could've won this game in regulation, but GP made a stupid foul on Chauncy Billups' 3 point attempt. Paul tried to be the hero and failed. Overtime.
Towards the end of overtime, Walker left his man all alone to tie the game with about 6 seconds left. This time around, Ricky Davis would take the last shot...he made a difficult spin move to drop his man and had to shoot the tough fall away. He back rimmed it and we're headed into double overtime.
The Pistons got into a good start and built a 5 point lead. We fought tooth and nail to get back into the game. Pierce hit the winner shot, then partially blocked Prince's 3 pointer to close out the game. Pierce finished with 38 points. His mom was in the stands too. Good for him.
Anyways, it was a great game..one of the best I've seen in a long time. An instant classic. Go C's!
